Basketball season once again!

Cold season is over! It's now a season to play basketball and get in SHAPE! I really love to play basketball. Shoot, dribble, layup, and dunk(just exaggerating :D). It’s really great to get in shape while having fun playing the game I really love.

I’ve realized just now how true the Neuro Associative Conditioning(NAC) is as described by Anthony Robbins in his book entitled Awaken The Giant Within. Indeed It’s a fact that we, as much as possible, avoid PAIN and always welcome PLEASURE.

Playing basketball is pleasurable for me that I love to do it often. The joy of playing it made me oblivious of the total body exercise which gets me in shape. On the other hand, working out at the gym, like stationary jogging and free weight training, is very painful for me that I tend to avoid it as much as I could. Even deciding whether to go workout or not is already a gruelling ordeal by itself.

I have to erase the thought of PAIN and associate PLEASURE in working out so that I’ll love to do it more often. In order to do this, I have to hypnotize myself into believing that beautiful body is cool, 6-pack abs is sexy, and body in good shape contributes to life full of happiness. I also have to plant in my head that body in bad shape is extremely painful because it can lead to all kinds of illnesses and distress, resulting into a life of grief and misery.
