"An idle mind is the devil's playground." For as long as we are alive, our mind is always doing something. It seems that if we do not think (that is when our mind is idle), our mind will do the thinking for us. Sounds tricky but it's true. In addition, whenever our mind is idle, strange things occupy our mind. Hate, grudge, erotica (if you are horny like me:D), and strange, or call it evil, things seems to frequently occupy our mind. This seems to be the natural tendency. Is there an idle mind? Can we stop our mind from thinking? Our mind seems to be always active. Even if we're sleeping, it still is functioning, that's why we dream. The only way to stop the mind is to slit one's throat :D. We can't stop the mind from thinking. If we don't force ourselves to think, our mind will think for us and evil things tend to be the mind's favorite topic. And whatever we think affects our physiological state. If we think of hate, grudge, disappointments, and all other negative things then we naturally feel down. It's also true otherwise that if we think of positive things, we also feel up. Ironic but true, to busy our mind is the secret to peace and tranquility.
